We went to Pilanesberg

On Sunday, we decided to visit the Pilanesberg Park, and this is what we saw. I love going there, it brings me back to reality and nature, something we seem to forget about. Some of the areas are burnt quite badly, then some parts, as you can see, are still very green. After driving around for a while, we had lunch and went for another drive. I am a bit behind on my blogging, but had some technical problems, luckily that is sorted now.
Well, I need to end off now, got some cleaning to do.

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature.

So I made this. . .

I made this layout of Megan and Shani at the Notredame, on their visit in France. This will be the frontcover of her France album.
I like scrapping 12x12 pages, I struggle with the smaller sizes.
It is still very cold here this morning, but it is weekend, so we will just stay in. Megan and her friend Felicia went to visit Margie on the farm, I am sure that it is bitterly cold there.
Only a short entry this morning, on my way to fetch my car, the breaks had to get fixed.
Enjoy your weekend

Some pictures

Recently, Megan went on a hockeytour to France and Belgium, they went on a lot of sightseeing and played against very good teams. They were a group of 43 people who made the tour. On these photos they visited Notredame, Disneyland and Stade de France and they enjoyed nice cold and wet weather in Belgium. We missed her terribly, but it sure was a experience worthwhile.

Shaaww, this morning I got up at half past three, to make some lunch for Andre to take to work, it was freezing, but I am sure not as cold and wet as Cape Town.
At seven I will be on my way to another Spinning class, I feel I should force myself, because yesterday was my dad's birthday, we had nice soup, rolls, sherry, and of course, Choclate Cake!!! Therefore the inforcement.

Tonight, I will be watching Bafana Bafana play against Brazill!! Tough match for our guys, but GOODLUCK!!!

All of you must have a lovely day!!

This is a new "littlethingie" for me

Hallo Everybody!
Welcome to my blog. I am sure that you will bear with me, for this is a new adventure I am taking on, but I was so inspired by all the other lovely blogs, I follow, to start my own. Soon, I will publish my photo, just waiting for the perfect one!! I will add the little thingies that inspire me on a daily basis, the little things that we so easily forget, there are actually so many, for our days get rushed more and more. . . I will also include some pictures of my family, friends and of course our pets. And then of course, I love baking, so I will include some of my favourite recipes for you to try out. And then of course: A little thingie: Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
