This is what I have in mind. . .

It is Megan's 16th birthday in the month of May.
I want her to have a cake like this!!
Maybe the pink just a little bittie brighter and on the top that wire that you can curl like you want:)
The thing is: I want to do this MYSELF!!
I have never used this type of icing.
Do you have any suggestions?
I also have decided on the invites already, will share in the near future.

  1. I've used "plastic" or fondant icing once before... it's actually quite easy to work worth... definitely buy the ready made stuff from Pick 'n Pay or some such. Works like a bomb. Enjoy.

  6. it looks stunning!!! I agree - the plastic icing is so easy to work with. when you roll it out use cornflour instead of ordinary flour to prevent it from sticking to the surface..... (a tip from my gran and it works). you'll have so much fun!!!! Can't wait to see the invites!!!
