A little bit of shabby chic.

Hallo everybody,
Hope you are all doing good and that life is treating you well.
I did this layout last night, I used the new range of Kaisercraft.
I had this photo taken at a studio in Parys, called KIKI'S.
She has the cutest little studio, all filled up with oldies, dresses, suitcases, feathers, etc.
I also do my layouts very metric, straight cutting,so I decided to do a bit of tearing, aging and all of that.
I also included some Enmarc di-cuts,Prima flowers and bling.
Hope you likey:)
Otherwise, we are all fine, Megan is resting her foot, she has a stress fracture and is suppose to rest for another 4 weeks, she was very sad and disappointed when the doctor told her that, that means all her practice, she feels everything she has put in,is down the drain, very hard-headed this one. She always gives 110% in whatever she does and I think she took it too far,she is keeping fit by swimming and some spinning now.

As i commented on some of your blogs, I still have not started my Christmas Shopping! Hmm, maybe this weekend. I signed up for a peweter class this Friday, have never tried it,though, have you??

My mom and dad are leaving on Saturday on holiday, starting in East Londen, ending in Gordons Bay. Will be very quiet here,we are living right next to each other, so use to her popping in during the day.

Also glad that school is closing, need some calmness around here. . .

Well, this is all from my side.

have a nice day,
tania

  2. Love the LO - very pretty.

  3. I bought a couple of gifts throughout the year - hopefully that will be enough for teachers / colleague gifts etc.I also still have to get gifts for my loved ones. I hate going to the Mall - especially after schools have closed for the holidays. I promised myself that I would have everything done before then and here I am again - giftless!!!!!!!

  4. Hello Tania
Thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
As you saw, I'm from Cape Town now living in Germany...heaven's give me strength!!! LOL
I used to work for Virgin Active in Tygervalley and before that when it was Health & Racquet, was the group training manager for years. I got taught spinning by Johnny G himself when he came over to introduce us to Spinning...so also qualified and taught many many classes...
I then moved over to Planet Fitness with Armand Botha as the Regional Group Training manager for the Cape...I left Planet when I met my hubby and moved to Germany...
I miss my teaching days, now only teach one fun class a week...to women who are not very co-ordinated...LOL
I'm adding you to my feedreader, love being in touch with South African bloggers, I met Lynette this week as well.

  5. I wonder who the hard headedness is inherited from?? I think we all have a streak of it and it can definitely come in handy sometimes:) I LOOVE the Prima bling - the something pazzzazzy it adds to a layout - perfect!
